Decent Work

What do the social-economic rights mean? These are the rights that perfectly incorporate the concept of "decent work". Rights, which in most cases, for most of us are the essential conditions for a dignified life.

According to the International Labour Organization Decent Work focuses on 4 features:
1. rights at work
2. employment promotion
3. social protection
4. social dialogue

European Union support

Promotion of these rights is one of the priorities of the European Union policy, which aims at the transition to a competitive knowledge-based economy, investing in people and promoting social inclusion, in which all feel part of the community.

Concrete activities for rights awareness

Specific actions by which these rights are put into practice differ from state to state. As a rule, they take the form of information and professional counselling, labour mediation, training, advice and assistance for starting an independent activity, stimulation of employers for the recruitment of the unemployed, subsidizing jobs, creation of new jobs, stimulating mobility of labour force.

The skills of promoting, protecting and claiming these rights should be primarily formed at the young generation. Through information, training and practical application Moldovan youth will learn to claim and apply the rights and support their interests for a better life.
